A reminder that final Book Battle Royale contributions & Mockingjay Mini-Contests entries are welcome until Friday, Sept. 3 and that the cut off for the Grand Prizes submissions is Wednesday, Sept. 8. Good luck, y'all!

TeenRC was developed by librarians for teens interested in reading and connecting with other teen readers across Canada and throughout the year.
To keep the gears turning, we have a strong crew of volunteer library staff from across Canada who help moderate book reviews, chats, and forums. It is thanks to their help that teens keep coming back to this site.

Meet the Teen Reading Club Admin!
Leah Pearse (left) came to TeenRC in November 2009 to act as the new coordinator of the TeenRC program for the Greater Victoria Public Library. She's trained as a librarian and archivist. When she's not reading the latest YA novel and updating the website, she can be found playing roller derby. Leah lives and works in beautiful Victoria, BC
Kimberley Budd (right) is the brand new Program Assistant for TeenRC. Her favourite books include Watership Down, Harry Potter, and anything by Kurt Vonnegut Jr. Kimberley lives in Victoria BC with her husband and their gigantic dog.
